Mudeford Sunday Social Netball League gets underway!

MUDEFORD SUNDAY SOCIAL NETBALL LEAGUE SEASON STARTS!

The first week of the much-anticipated Mudeford Sunday 7-a-side Netball league, specifically in the Premier division, delivered some thrilling matches with teams showing their mettle right at the start of the season.

The league had 3 matches this week, and the scores made it evident that teams are giving their all in this early stage of the season. The match between Game Of Throws and Desperate Pitches saw the latter dominate with a decisive 37-4 victory. Deservedly, reigning champions Desperate Pitches set the bar high for the rest of the season.

Meanwhile, Allsorts triumphed over Winging It with a 15-7 win, bringing their A-game to the first week of the season. However, it was the Net Ninjas who sealed an impressive 21-3 victory over Sweaty Bettys, demonstrating their strength and strategic prowess on the court.

Despite their defeat, Winging It had a silver lining, as one of their players, Joanne Squibb, was recognised as the most valued player of the week. Squibb's performance showcased her excellent ability and determination, making her stand out among this week's top players.

With the season just beginning, we look forward to the upcoming matches and the journey these teams will take us on in the Premier division. This week has set an exciting tone for the rest of the season, promising more action, strategic play and an impressive display of teamwork and skill.
