It was great to be back playing after the summer break. It's been a sad few days for the country so our first thoughts go to Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II RIP and her family, a truly remarkable lady who served our country throughout her life and will be sorely missed by all.
Onto the netball and it was Twynham Tigers who stay on top of the table after game day 6. They proved to strong for a young Hot Shots side who had a tough start on their return, Tiger's Rachael Cook picking up player of the game in a convincing win. Desperate Housewives are 4 points behind after an epic 22-21 win over Life's A Pitch in a competitive but good spirited contest, Cathy Hague winning player of the game. Finally Winging It put in a fantastic performance to upset the form book and seal a 14-12 win over Allsorts, Katie Tagg with a player of the game performance for her team.
Thank you so much to Sam for running the evening and providing plenty of tips and help along the way for our players, especially some of the younger or inexperienced players, it's much appreciated, Thanks Rich and Kate
