In last night's conclusion to the Mudeford Sunday Netball league, top teams battled it out in the tenth and final week of the season. The climactic games were a testament to the skill and commitment of all participating teams in the Premier League division.
Desperate Pitches are crowned champions as they finished the season with a win over Winging It. The team's stellar performance throughout the season has garnered a total of 50 points and 10 wins, clinching the top spot in the league. Game Of Throws finished as runners up as they rounded off their season with a win against Sweaty Betty's while Allsorts end the season third despite a close defeat to Net Ninjas on the final day.
The final week of the season wasn't just about team performances. Joanne Squibb of team Winging It shone bright along with Jess Wheeler of Net Ninjas who shared the Player Of The Season award.
As we close the season, we celebrate not only the triumphant victory of team Desperate Pitches but also the spirit of sportsmanship, skill, and camaraderie exhibited by all teams in the league. Each game played and point scored has made this league an extraordinary spectacle of netball.
With the end of this season, anticipation is already high for the next. The teams, armed with the experience of this season, will be returning to the court on Sunday, ready to make their mark in the next league. Thank you to all our players and captains this season.
Finally we must not forget to thank Sam who runs the league brilliantly week in week out for us. Thank you for all your efforts this season, it's much appreciate by all.
