Headline: Leicester Wednesday Netball League Kicks off with Exciting First Week Results

The much-anticipated start to the Leicester Wednesday Netball League did not disappoint, as the League witnessed some thrilling performances last night. The new season commenced with a powerful display of expertise and talent from all the participating teams.

Natterjacks took the lead by beating Wreake Havoc 24-9, with a performance that set the pace for the rest of the season. Hot on their heels, Nets Be Havin Ya claimed victory against The Foxes with a score of 20-8, demonstrating a strong defense strategy.

Despite the loss, The Foxes emerged with a huge win as their star player, Sally Green, was named the most valued player of the week. Sally's performance showed incredible determination and skill on the court. 

Meanwhile, Shooting Stars shone bright with a 15-9 victory over Nets Top Models, proving they are a team to watch this season. The night concluded with Seagrave Squirrels winning over Puffed Out Peaches 14-4, wrapping up the start of the season with a series of thrilling matches.

The first week of the Leicester Wednesday Netball League has certainly set the tone for an action-packed and competitive season. As we look ahead, all eyes will be on the League as the teams battle it out for the coveted title!
