As the sun set on the St Dominics Priory School, Week 4 of the social netball season kicked off, filling the air with a sense of camaraderie and friendly competition. The evening was abuzz with athletes of all experience levels, from novices to seasoned players, coming together for a delightful night of netball. The welcoming atmosphere and laughter echoing through the court truly encapsulated the spirit of the sport.

The first match featured All Game and Bluebirds, where the latter cheerfully closed the game with a score of 21-8. Both teams demonstrated a commendable level of teamwork and commitment, infusing the court with an infectious positive energy. The friendly banter between the teams served as a reminder that the games were as much about building relationships as they were about the sport itself.

The second game of the evening saw Red Blossoms and Footwork And Fancy take the court. The game ended in a close 16-15 in favor of Red Blossoms. Despite the tight score, both teams exhibited exceptional sportsmanship, keeping the match light-hearted and enjoyable.

The third match, between Lashes And Passes and Hoops We Did It Again, ended with a score of 20-17. The game was played in great spirit, with players on both teams moving around the court with enthusiasm and showcasing their skills in a supportive environment.

A special shoutout goes to our Most Valued Player of the evening, whose relentless enthusiasm, expert movement around the court, and team spirit were appreciated by both teammates and opponents alike. Their positive contribution truly embodied the spirit of social netball.
