The eighth week of the season saw an enchanting evening of social netball unfurl at the St Dominics Priory School. The atmosphere was brimming with camaraderie and joviality, as players from all walks of life and skill levels gathered for a gala evening of netball. The essence of the evening was encapsulated perfectly in the spirit of the game — friendly, inclusive, and undeniably fun!

The first match of the evening saw the Brammy Babes and Thunderbirds take the court. The game concluded with Brammy Babes finishing with a score of 26-16. It was an enjoyable game played in the great spirit of netball, with both sides demonstrating commendable teamwork and commitment.

Next up, the Goal Diggers and The Queens showcased their netball skills. The Goal Diggers ended the game with a score of 29-18. The game was high on positive energy and sportsmanship, highlighting the essence of social netball.

The Rolling Stones and Stone Mermaids engaged in an exciting match, with the Stone Mermaids wrapping up the game at 20-7. Despite the numbers, the match was a wonderful display of sportsmanship and camaraderie.

Queen Bees and Shooting Stars concluded the evening's matches. Queen Bees ended the game with a score of 25-18. Both teams exhibited excellent teamwork and a shared love for the game.

A special mention goes to our Most Valued Player of the evening. Their enthusiasm and movement around the court didn't go unnoticed. Their positive contribution was appreciated by teammates and opponents alike, making them a truly deserving recipient of this acknowledgement.
