The fifth week of the season marked another memorable evening of social netball at St Dominics Priory School. The air buzzed with camaraderie and sportsmanship as players of all experience levels took to the court in the spirit of friendly competition. The night was filled with laughter, high fives, and heart-warming teamwork, proving once again that netball is more than just a game - it's a community.

The first game saw the Stone Mermaids and Brammy Babes playing with passion and determination. Stone Mermaids concluded the game with a score of 16-11. Despite the numbers, it was an enjoyable game marked by exceptional sportsmanship, with both teams commending each other for their excellent play and commitment.

In the second match, Shooting Stars and The Queens exhibited their skills on the court. The match ended with Shooting Stars scoring 25 and The Queens scoring 19. It was a game played in great spirit, highlighting the positive energy that netball brings to all involved.

The Queen Bees and Thunderbirds were next, showcasing their resilience and teamwork throughout their game. Queen Bees finished with a score of 40-15, but the score was secondary to the laughter and encouragement shared between the two teams.

The evening ended with a high-energy match between Rolling Stones and Goal Diggers. The final score was 8-42, with the Goal Diggers coming out ahead. Nevertheless, both teams demonstrated unwavering camaraderie throughout the match.

A special mention goes to the Most Valued Player of the evening. Their enthusiasm, agility, and sportsmanship were evident in every sprint, pass, and goal. Their contribution to the game was appreciated by teammates and opponents alike, embodying the spirit of community netball.
