Canterbury Monday social netball league update 7th August

The Canterbury Monday social netball league once again showcased its competitive spirit as teams battled it out in Week 7 of the season. 

The Canterbury Hot Shots faced the formidable Rowdy Rockets in a thrilling encounter. Despite putting up a valiant effort, the Hot Shots were unable to overcome the Rockets' dominant performance. The final score stood at 10-24 in favor of the Rowdy Rockets, who showcased their strength and skill throughout the match.

Another captivating game in the division saw the Shooting Stars take on the Tigers. Both teams displayed incredible sportsmanship and determination, but it was the Tigers who emerged victorious with a final score of 23-6. The Tigers' exceptional teamwork and precise shooting proved to be the winning formula on the night.

Amidst the intense competition, one player stood out from the rest as the Most Valued Player of the week. Sarah Beckley, a key member of the Rowdy Rockets, demonstrated her outstanding performance and contribution to her team's success. Beckley's exceptional skills and unwavering dedication were instrumental in leading the Rockets to victory.
