In the electrifying world of netball, the Canterbury Monday League's second week just wrapped up with an impressive showcase of skill, strategy, and strength. Particularly, the Premier League division witnessed some thrilling contests with three significant matches that had fans at the edge of their seats.

The Canterbury Hot Shots faced a tough challenge against the mighty Tigers, wherein, Tigers triumphed with a staggering 16-4 victory. The Hot Shots put up a valiant fight, but the Tigers' robust defence and precision in attack proved too much for them.

In the second match of the Premier League, the Rowdy Rockets and the Shooting Stars locked horns in a closely contested battle. The Rockets held their nerve till the last moment and pulled off a victory by a narrow margin of 20-16. The game was a true nail-biter and had both sets of supporters at full voice.

The last match of the division, however, was a one-sided affair, with Win Or Booze falling short against No Direction. No Direction put up an imposing 22-1 triumph, demonstrating a commendable display of teamwork and athleticism.

A special mention goes out to Ellie Burningham from the Shooting Stars, who was named the most valued player of this week. Even though Shooting Stars couldn't secure a win, Ellie's outstanding performance caught everyone’s attention, making her the standout player in this week’s games.

Despite the varying results, the teams showcased their passion for the sport, making week 2 an unforgettable one for spectators and players alike. As the league progresses, we eagerly await what twists and turns are yet to come in the Canterbury Monday League's Premier division.
