Who Loves the Rugeley Netball League...

With the weather taking a turn from sun to rain, the ladies are still loving life in the up to date sports hall at Rugeley Leisure Centre. We saw a top of the table clash where the flying Hawks took on the wonderful Warriors. To begin with we saw Hawks popping the ball in the net with our super shooter Lisa. When Hawks had warmed up into the game the came flying back and quickly caught up with the Hawks. By half time the score was 7-8 to the Warriors!

With a slightly extended half time to cope with the heat, as the heat is still very present, the Hawks came flying back to at the start but was just running short on the attack with Warriors getting the ball down their net a little bit more than what the Hawks wanted! Warriors are still at the top of the table, but this could all change as the season goes on.

Our final game of the night saw two of our nicest teams come together with even more new players joining in on these leagues! This game allowed our 2 new umpires to build up confidence and get some smiles on their face, even when the Panthers GD begins to defend with a crab dance to distract the Lions!
