Worcester Monday League

In an exciting week six of the Worcester Monday Netball league, there was plenty of action in both the Premier League and Division 1.

In the Premier League, The Rockets provided a display of team unity and individual skills, succeeding over Ball Busters with a narrow margin, 15-12. Meanwhile, Severn Sirens managed to secure a victory against Worcester Ravens with a 12-8 scoreline, proving their defensive tactics paid off. The third match saw Perdiswell Shooters deliver a great  performance, defeating Weakest Link, 17-6.

 The most valued player of the week, Charley Hadley, from the Weakest Link, impressed despite her team’s loss, showcasing her composure and skill on the court.

Turning our attention to Division 1, Worcester Wildcats showed their strength against Worcester Ladies, clinching a 10-6 victory. Despite a tough competition, Sweaty Bettys rode out as winners against Court Queens with a 15-8 scoreline. Meanwhile, in a closely contested encounter, The Stars Of Worcester emerged victorious over Worcester Sauces with a final score of 17-14.

This week proved to be a turning point for many of the teams as they showcased their best efforts yet. The league has truly been a testament to the high level of competition that is prevalent in Netball at the local level.

The top scorers from each division were The Stars Of Worcester in Division 1 and Perdiswell Shooters in the Premier League, highlighting their offensive strength and teamwork.

As we head into week seven, all eyes will be on these teams to see if they can maintain their momentum whist the Worcester Monday league continues to deliver exciting and nail-biting Netball action, week after week.
