In the world of local sports, the twelfth week of the Chorley Tuesday Netball League, specifically the Premier League division, saw some thrilling action take place on the court.

In a gripping match, the fiercely competitive Blue Tigers were narrowly beaten by the Rejects, with a final score of 30-26. Despite a spirited performance, the Tigers just could not overcome the tenacity of the Rejects who continued their impressive run in the league.

Meanwhile, the Buckshaw Belles and the Mavericks delivered one of the most closely fought contests of the evening. The Belles snatched victory from the jaws of defeat, edging out the Mavericks 24-23 in a nail-biting finish.

In an exciting contest, the Croston Eagles and the Longshots ended in a thrilling 26-26 draw. Both teams demonstrated excellent team spirit and sportsmanship, neither giving an inch to the other throughout the match.

In another fixture, Firestars triumphed over the Croston Harriers with a 26-20 win. The Firestars continue to uphold their reputation as a strong contender in the league, proving too hot to handle for the Harriers.

While all teams put up a commendable show, the top scorers of the evening in the Premier League division were the Rejects and the Firestars, both managing to net 30 and 26 points respectively.
