The ninth week of the season was filled with fierce competition, especially in Division 1, which provided a thrilling spectacle for fans and spectators.
The week began with a nail-biting face-off between the Hykeham Harlequins and the Arrows. The Harlequins managed to clinch a closely contested match, with the final score standing at 26-20. Despite the loss, Tia Smith-shaw from the Arrows put up a mesmerizing performance and was rightly crowned the most valued player of the week. Her athletic ability and commitment to the game were truly commendable and she was a beacon of inspiration for her team.
Next, we had Lincoln Lionesses pitted against the Flying Foxes. The Lionesses roared to victory, outscoring the Foxes 18-13. Both teams displayed tremendous sportsmanship and team spirit, and the match was a testament to the high-grade netball played in the league.
In the last match of the week, the Witham Wildcats demonstrated their dominance over the Roses, finishing the game with a high score of 31-20. This victory has steadied the Wildcats' position in Division 1, making them a strong contender for the title.
