The second week of the season brought another delightful, spirited evening of social netball to the NWSH @ Southlands High School. Players of all stripes graced the court, their varying levels of experience creating a dynamic, inclusive atmosphere. The games were played in the true spirit of camaraderie, showcasing both the sportive skill and the social aspect of netball.

The first match of the evening saw the Netmasters and Chilli Peppers take to the court. The Netmasters finished the game with a score of 17-10, a testament to their tight-knit teamwork. The Chilli Peppers, undeterred, displayed great commitment and sportsmanship throughout. Despite the scoreline, it was an enjoyable game, brimming with positive energy.

In the second match, the Shooting Stars and The Untouchaballs came head-to-head. The evening ended with the Shooting Stars scoring 21 to The Untouchaballs' 6. The game embodied the essence of social netball, with both teams showing a remarkable level of engagement and spirit.

A special mention must go to Sarah Jenkins of the Shooting Stars. Her enthusiasm was contagious, her movement around the court was top-notch, and her positive contribution didn't go unnoticed. Both teammates and opponents appreciated her fantastic efforts.

As we look forward to Week 3, excitement fills the air. Another evening of friendly social netball awaits us all. It's about keeping active, meeting new people and developing netball skills.
