NETBALL THRILLS IN CHORLEY THURSDAY LEAGUE

The sparks were flying in the Premier League division last night in the ninth week of the Chorley Thursday Netball League. As the energy on the court reached fever pitch, spectators were treated to some exhilarating displays of finesse and athleticism from the teams.

In the first game of the evening, the Chilli Peppers turned up the heat against the Chorley Cherries, dominating the match with a final score of 17-11. The Chilli Peppers' fiery offensive strategies and unyielding defence were the driving force behind their victory.

Meanwhile, in a tightly-contested match, the Netchicks eked out a victory over The Untouchaballs. The Netchicks took a narrow lead in the first half and managed to maintain it, eventually winning 11-8. The team's cohesion and tactical prowess were on full display, making them a joy to watch.

Finally, the Shooting Stars shone bright against The Netmasters, winning 17-12. The Stars' sharp shooting and quick passes allowed them to maintain their lead over The Netmasters, despite a spirited fightback towards the end of the match.

The top scorers of the night were the Chilli Peppers and the Shooting Stars, both finishing with 17 goals each. Their impressive performances have earmarked them as teams to watch out for as the league progresses.
