The sixth week of social netball at NWSH @ Southlands High School was an evening of laughter, fitness, and friendly competition. As the sun set, the courts came alive with a vibrant mix of teams, all showcasing a range of experience levels. The atmosphere was electric yet welcoming, making it a truly enjoyable evening of netball in the heart of the community.

In the first match of Division 1, Hoops I Did It Again and Astley Ballers displayed an exceptional show of teamwork. The final whistle saw the game end in a 20-20 tie. Both teams should be proud of their commitment, their sportsmanship was evident throughout the game.

Up next, Chorley Inferno Fireballs and Net Rebels stepped onto the court. The Fireballs concluded the game with a score of 31-11. The positive energy from both teams was infectious. It was a game played in great spirit, with everyone cheering on their teammates and opponents alike.

The Sundays and Clovers then took to the stage, with the Clovers finishing the game at 29-15. The camaraderie within and between the teams was the highlight of the game. It was refreshing to see such enthusiasm and enjoyment from all players.

The final match of the evening was between Chorley Flames and Vipers. Despite the score of 17-38 in favor of the Vipers, the Flames’ dedication and never-give-up attitude made for a memorable match. The spirit in which this game was played embodied the true essence of social netball.

A special mention goes to our Most Valued Player of the evening. This player exemplified what social netball is all about — enthusiasm, movement around the court, and a positive contribution that was appreciated by all on and off the court. Your effort and commitment didn’t go unnoticed.
