The sun set on another delightful evening of social netball at NWSH @ Southlands High School, marking the halfway point of the season with Week 5 coming to a close. The evening was filled with a welcoming atmosphere and cheerful players of all experience levels, making for a wonderful night of netball that showcased the joy of sport and community spirit.
The first match saw Net Rebels and Astley Ballers sharing the court, with the final score being a close 26-19 in favour of Astley Ballers. Both teams displayed exceptional teamwork, commitment, and sportsmanship, creating an exciting and enjoyable game that was played in the true spirit of friendly competition.
Hoops I Did It Again and The Sundays were up next, bringing their own unique energy to the court. The match ended with Hoops scoring 31 points against the 17 from The Sundays. Despite the score difference, it was a game filled with positive energy and sportsmanship from both sides.
Next, Chorley Inferno Fireballs and Vipers took the court. This game ended with a score of 31-5 in favour of Chorley Inferno Fireballs. All players showed an admiration-worthy commitment to the game, constantly encouraging each other and ensuring the game was played in good spirit.
The last pair for the evening was Clovers and Chorley Flames, with a final score of 26-22 to the Clovers. Both teams showed impressive camaraderie and contagious energy, creating an enjoyable game that was a great end to the evening.
