On a beautiful Sunday evening at NWSH @ Southlands High School, Week 3 of the social netball season unfolded with joviality and sportsmanship. The welcoming atmosphere filled the courts, embracing players of all experience levels. It was indeed a fantastic, friendly night of netball, where scores were secondary to the fun and camaraderie that permeated the matches.

The spirited competition between The Sundays and Astley Ballers saw a lively match that ended with Astley Ballers topping with a score of 22-12. The teamwork, commitment and positive energy that both teams exhibited were palpable, and it was clear that a fun time was had by all.

Another exciting match-up was between the Net Rebels and Vipers. The Vipers edged their way to a 28-11 finish, but the games were characterized more by the unwavering sportsmanship and enthusiasm than by the final score. Both teams demonstrated great spirit and they shone as beacons of community netball.

The face-off between Hoops I Did It Again and Chorley Flames saw some excellent play, ending with a score of 27-11 in favour of Hoops I Did It Again. Despite the points difference, it was the spirit of the game and the mutual respect between players that truly stood out.

The Most Valued Player of the evening was the embodiment of the spirit of social netball. Their enthusiasm was infectious, and their movement around the court was like poetry in motion. Their positive contribution didn't go unnoticed and was appreciated by teammates and opponents alike.

As we look forward to Week 4, we anticipate another exciting evening of friendly social netball.
