Play in the Chorley Thursday football league powered by Leisure Leagues

The atmosphere was buzzing with anticipation and camaraderie yesterday evening at NWSH @ Southlands High School as we celebrated Week 10 of the social netball season. Players of all experience levels came together to participate in this wonderful game, illustrating the true essence of sportsmanship and teamwork, while thoroughly enjoying a great night of netball.

In the Division 1 group, Goal Diggers and Chorley Inferno Fireballs locked horns in what turned out to be a game full of energy and positive spirits. The Fireballs finished the game with a score of 44-18, but it was the teamwork, commitment, and sportsmanship demonstrated by both teams that truly stole the show.

Meanwhile, in the Division 2 group, the Clovers showcased their netball skills and camaraderie. Although no scores were mentioned, the commitment, sportsmanship, and positive energy on the court said it all!

A special mention goes out to our Most Valued Player of the week. Their enthusiasm, dynamic movement around the court, and positive contributions were appreciated by not just their teammates, but also their opponents. Their embodiment of the Back to Netball spirit was truly inspiring to witness.

As we look ahead to Week 11 and the next evening of friendly social netball, we're excited to continue nurturing an environment where everyone can enjoy keeping active, meeting new people, and developing their netball skills.

Finally, as this is the last week of the season, we would like to extend a hearty thank you to everyone who took part. A warm mention must go out to the Chorley Inferno Fireballs and the Clovers, who have truly led the way in their respective divisions this season.
