Play in the Chorley Thursday football league powered by Leisure Leagues

CHORLEY, UK - The much-anticipated Chorley Sunday Netball League kicked off last night, with several teams clashing in the first week of the season. The league, divided into Division 1 and Division 2, saw a thrilling display of competition and sportsmanship.

In Division 1, the Victory Vipers were outplayed by the Chorley Inferno Fireballs with the scoreboard reading 35-25 in favour of the Inferno Fireballs. Despite the Vipers' spirited performance, the Fireballs demonstrated superior tactics, scoring crucial points in the final minutes of the game. In the other match of the division, The Firebirds triumphed over the Goal Diggers in a convincing 36-19 win, setting an early pace in the season.

Meanwhile, in Division 2, The Sundays set the court ablaze, overpowering the Astley Ballers with a massive 38-5 victory. The Sundays, emerging as early favourites in the division, displayed an impressive show of teamwork and precision. In another match, the Netflicks And Balls succumbed to the Chorley Flames in a closely contested game, finishing 23-16 in favour of the Flames.

The top scorers of the evening were certainly the Chorley Inferno Fireballs in Division 1 and The Sundays in Division 2, both teams setting a high bar for the season ahead.

While it's still very early days, the opening night has already set the stage for an intense and exciting season. The league will continue next week with teams having their sights set on the top of their respective divisions. Fans and spectators alike are looking forward to the continued display of exceptional netball throughout the season.
