Winging it claim their first win!

This is a sad weekly update this week as we yet again say goodbye to netball for a while...

England are reentering a new national lockdown on Thursday 5th, which unfortunately means our netball league will once again be shut down until at least December.

The good news Is that we managed to get 2 weeks of netball in to get all that rust off that many players would be worried about, so when we return, which we will, everyone will be ready to go again with potentially even more teams!

In other news- I have been told by head office that our online payment system is now fully back up and running (just in time for no more netball....), so when we return, we will be switching over to that and not taking payments on the night.

TEAM OF THE WEEK!

WINGING IT get their first official win! Although they actually lost on the night, because their opponents couldn't make it, they were awarded the automatic win and only lost 6-4, which just goes to show the improvement these ladies have made since they started. Like most teams in our league, they were formed from individual players that couldn't form their own teams, so were put together to allow them to play as complete strangers.. fast forward to their second season and they are really starting to work together as a team, they all know their positions and have all individually become much better in those positions. Im really looking forward to seeing how they compete against our new teams and where they end up in the league table. Excellent performance girls!
