Netball is coming!

These are the words that have just been echoed by the Culture Secretary, Oliver Dowden.

Finally, Indoor gyms, swimming pools and most importantly sports facilities will be able to re-open from 25 July!
“The return of recreational sport is a "vital part" of the fight against coronavirus, he argues, as people must get "match-fit" to reduce the risks to health.” says Dowden.

Please be mindful, this is a government recommendation and proposed date to reopen. This is subject to local centres deciding whether they are in a position and confident to re-open with the necessary COVID-safe practices in place.

Also be mindful, as we have seen in Leicester, localised lockdowns can push this date back. So please, do your bit locally, stick to the rules and all being well, we will be back to action very soon. However, Mudeford wood community centre have been in touch and have told us not to expect to use the court until September, with regular reviews of the situation until then.

I will be contacting every team in our leagues to update you as soon as centres have contacted me with their proposed plans!
Thank you for your patience!
