NETBALL IS BACK!!!

FINALLY NETBALL RETURNS!

We have all been very excited and been very patient for the return of netball at Mudeford Wood community centre.

Last night the teams finally stepped back out onto the astroturf pitch again for their first game back in what feels like years!

Of course the night was as usual a massive success, so we thank our umpire and teams for making that happen!

The main thing was that everyone had fun, everyone had a good workout and are all buzzing about playing next week already!

TEAM OF THE WEEK!

Pocket Rockets really hit the ground running on the first night back and rightfully claim "team of the week"! These ladies looked promising before we stopped for lockdown and with a 10-2 victory on their first game back after lockdown, they really didn't allow the long covid break to stop their momentum! Their opponents also had a few good games before the break, so to brush them aside so confidently is a real credit to the team and their improving performances! With a 100% winning start to the season, these girls could look like title contenders...

WOTM AWARDS!

Vicky Williamson - Jalapeño hotties - Vicky had a fantastic game and was vital for her team in what was actually a fairly competitive match. Even thought her team lost, she was key to their performance!

Michaela Pressey - Desperate housewives - Michaela was definitely the right choice for WOTM on Sunday! She was everywhere and her opponents just couldn't cope with her, she really did have a great game!
