Mudeford Netball is back!

It was great to finally meet everyone at our Mudeford 5 a side netball league at Mudeford Wood Community Centre on Sunday. It was also good to welcome new team Twynham Tigers to the league and also a number of new players.

The top of the table clash saw reigning champions Allsorts face new team Twynham who had taken over from Jalapenos Hotties in the league. Allsorts had picked up relatively comfortable wins before this match to take them to the top put Tigers pushed them all the way in a great game. Allsorts however did come out on top in the end winning 7-4. Girls With Balls came from behind to lead Muddy Balls 6-3 with just a couple of minutes to go before surviving a late fight back to hold on for a 6-5 win. Finally in the other game Desperate Housewives and Winging It couldn't be separated as they tied the game 4-4.

Thank you to our umpire Rhiannon for running the night so well and to all our teams. All the games were close but played in good spirit. See you all Sunday, Rich & Kate.
