Desperate Housewives with another big win!

My goodness that could have gone either way with the weather on Sunday night, but luckily the court, umpire and players managed to stay relatively dry and avoid most of the heavy down pours that the country seems to experience on Sunday evening at Mudeford Wood community centre.

TEAM OF THE WEEK!

Desperate housewives will claim the weekly accolade for their performance on Sunday night. This was a game against probably their main rivals in the league and a game that can very easily go either way between both teams. This week Morgan Ritchie-Haydn and her team really dug deep and just really wanted the win more than their opponents. A final score of 12-5 showed their dominance and ensured that they got the result worthy of their performance. Unfortunately the game did end a couple of minutes early due to a player feeling unwell but the win still played its part to push them within touching distance of 2nd place!

POTM AWARDS!

Jamie Suttle - Allsorts - Jamie left the umpire with no option but to award her with POTM after a masterclass performance as GK. The umpire was very enthusiastic with her choice of POTM in this game and was very impressed with her ability to watch the game and intercept at the perfect moment!

Nicky Miller - Jalapeños Hotties - Nicky can now claim that she sits top of the Player of the season table in joint 1st after another excellent performance from her! Her energy levels were another level about everyone else on Sunday night and she was just always there ready to receive the ball!
