Desperate Housewives finally end Allsorts dominance!

It was sunny, dry and the shorts were back out to enjoy the calm pleasant weather we had on offer this Sunday evening at Mudeford Wood Community centre in our 5 a side netball league.

There where a couple of teams that impressed us last night, so it was very hard to chose who deserved team of the week....

TEAM OF THE WEEK!

It has to go to Desperate Housewives this week after becoming the first ever team to not be defeated by our reigning league champions. It really was a very highly contested game and one that was really end to end throughout the entire match. Morgan and her team really turned on the class on Sunday night and were very much worthy of the draw after playing one of their best games, which they really fought hard for. This kind of result really goes to show how much our teams have improved throughout the season. A massive performance and a massive draw that will no doubt give these ladies massive confidence going into the final week of the season.

POTM AWARDS!

Charlotte Duncalfe - Pocket Rockets - Charlotte was vital in this win! Her team trailed in this game for a majority of the match, which was a game that needed winning! Charlotte was very clinical under the net and really brought her team back for the narrow win!

Nathalie Robinson - Desperate Housewives - Nathalie had the game of her life on Sunday night as GK. Her opponents GK and GS were getting very frustrated at the lack of action they were getting from her just being on top form and almost never letting a pass get through to them!

Nicky Miller - Jalapeños Hotties - Nicky was incredible on sunday night and was hugely important to her team in their massive victory. Nicky was everywhere at each end of the pitch and never tired or slowed down, ensuring her team could rely on her to be their engine throughout.
