Amazingly close season at Mudeford Netball

Congratulations to Allsorts who regain the Mudeford Sunday 5 a side netball league at Mudeford Community Centre yesterday evening. Despite going down 18-12 to runners up The Twynham Tigers in the final match of the season they remained top. The win saw Tigers go level on points with but with Allsorts winning the title on goal difference. A fantastic effort by both teams. 

Desperate Housewives weren't far behind the top two as they won 7 of their 10 games, finishing with a 29-3 win against Winging It. Life's A Pitch finished on a high in 4th with a 10-5 win against Game Of Throws. Also a massive congratulations to Lisa Moore of Game Of Throws who picked up the player of the season award with 4 player of the game awards this season.

The new season will start on Sunday 12th June but we we will be having a free taster session which is also open to all current players on Sunday 29th May at 6pm. We are looking to trial going to 7 a side for the new season with longer matches. Thanks you to all our players and captains this season and an even bigger thank to our umpires Sam and Ron when covering, we couldn't do it without them. Thanks Rich and Kate
