New Season launched!

An excellent season concluded with the Champions, Vixens, pipping Wold Warriors to the post in an enthralling season battle. Only goal difference separates these two teams!

It was an excellent and competitive season with some great games. The league has been well received in Market Rasen with 2 new teams eager to join. 

Congrats to player of the seasons Natalie Chardoux of the Vixens and Lisa Pickard of Wold Warriors. 

To accommodate one new team we have stretched the league to 10 teams with 2 rest weeks every week. We therefore welcome Goal Diggers to the league with Rasen Ravers in standby. 

Due to currently no extra hall space available we still can only play 3 games every week so for now there are two rest weeks for teams (therefore no clarity no games at 9pm). As well as we have tried to space these, in some circumstances we cannot fully rotate rest weeks so some teams will have two rest weeks in a row or two in three. We hope everyone is ok with this as it’s the only way currently to have more teams playing. 

There are two weeks in the programme where the rest weeks are paired together. We have moved these two games till later in the season as our plan is to have two sessions where we play 4 games and start at 6:20. These current dates are 10/5 and 14/6. We will confirm nearer the time depending on the booking before us. 

Match fee has now increased to £38 which was due last season after the first promotional season but we allowed an extra season grace. This equates to roughly no more than 50p per player. 

Finally. We had 4 teams who wanted the 15 Feb off due to the half term break so to appease everyone we have cancelled that session.
