Market Rasen Tuesday Netball: New Season Underway!

The Market Rasen Netball league returned this Tuesday for another season after a fantastic campaign concluded last week. 

The reigning champions Wold Warriors claimed a walkover in the first week in a points match, getting their title defence off to an easy start, as Ball Bashers also received a default win. 

In the official matches, last season's runners-up Vixens also got off to a winning start in their bid to go one better this season and win the title. They beat the Dynamites 16-13 in a very tight battle, inspired by MVP Natalie Mellors. 

Cally Littlewood's standout performance led the Bomber Birds to a 17-9 win to kick their campaign off, while Rasen Rejects also started well with a 14-9 victory over Goaldiggers, propelled by an inspired Kathrine Bromley.
