In the heart of Orpington, the Harris Academy's sports hall was buzzing with an air of camaraderie and friendly competition last Sunday evening. The illuminating floodlights marked the end of the day and the beginning of an enjoyable evening of social netball, with Week 7 of the season underway. A smorgasbord of players, both beginners and seasoned, came together to bask in the spirit of the sport, fostering a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring a great night of netball for all.

The first match saw the Southborough Stormers and the Net Setters take to the court. In a lively encounter, the Stormers ended the game with a close score of 13-11. The match was a true testament to the essence of netball with teamwork, commitment, and sportsmanship being the order of the day. The positive energy on the court was palpable, as both teams demonstrated a great spirit of the game, making it an enjoyable spectacle for all.

The second encounter was between the Dynamic Dunks and the Gold Ringers. The Gold Ringers finished the game with a score of 20-8. The game was played in a buoyant atmosphere with both teams showcasing a commendable dedication to the sport. Among the many fantastic players this evening, a special mention must be given to the Most Valued Player.
