Play in the Orpington Sunday social netball league

This past week marked the sixth enjoyable evening of social netball at Harris Academy. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, with a lively mix of experienced players and new faces. The evening was filled with camaraderie, laughter, and some terrific netball, reminding us all why we love this game.

In the first match under the light-hearted Premier League banner, the Gold Ringers and Diamond Divas took to the court. The Diamond Divas played an enjoyable game, proving that practice pays off, finishing with a score of 22-8. The Gold Ringers, their spirits undeterred, demonstrated positive energy and sportsmanship.

Following that match, the Net Setters and Dynamic Dunks took the stage. With a final score of 27-11 for the Dynamic Dunks, both teams demonstrated exceptional teamwork and commitment. The Net Setters, though coming up short on the scoreboard, played with heart and were not short of smiles and laughter.

This week's Most Valued Player award went to the Dynamic Dunks' Charlotte Alderman. Her enthusiastic play and movement around the court were infectious, inspiring both her teammates and opponents. Charlotte's positive contribution was appreciated by all, a testament to the spirit of social netball.

As we look forward to Week 7, we are excited about another evening of friendly social netball. Whether you're there to keep active, meet new people, or continue developing your netball skills, Harris Academy is the place to be! Remember, it's not about the result on the scoreboard, but the fun, friendship and fitness gained along the way.
