Play in the Orpington Sunday social netball league

The fourth week of social netball at Harris Academy was a testament to the spirit of community, camaraderie, and festive atmosphere that epitomizes the heart of our sport. The air was filled with laughter, cheering, and the gentle swishing sound of a ball through a net. Players of all experience levels came together on the court, creating an evening to remember.

The first match of the evening witnessed the Net Setters sharing the court with Diamond Divas. The game was filled with energy as the Net Setters finished with a score of 21-2. Regardless of the score, both teams displayed immense teamwork and commitment, keeping the game enjoyable and spirited.

The second game featured Dynamic Dunks against Southborough Stormers. The end score was 30-16 in favour of Dynamic Dunks. Despite the score difference, the game was played in high spirits, with both teams showcasing wonderful sportsmanship and positive energy.

Our Most Valued Player of the week was Vernadeen Baker from Diamond Divas. Vernadeen's enthusiasm was infectious, as she moved around the court with grace and precision. Her positive contribution did not go unnoticed by both her teammates and opponents, making her a pleasure to watch and an inspiration to many.

As we look ahead to Week 5, we eagerly anticipate another evening of friendly social netball. This is more than just a sport, it's a way to keep active, meet new people, and develop skills in a supportive environment. Our netball nights at Harris Academy are all about enjoying the game and fostering a lifelong love for the sport. Join us next week for another fun-filled session.
