ORPINGTON- After months of anticipation, the Orpington Sunday 7-a-side netball league has finally commenced! The thrilling opening week saw the teams in the Premier League division showcase their commitment, skill, and netball prowess as they battled it out on the court for the first wins of the season.

In the Premier League division, the Netball Ninjas put up a spirited fight against 5 Gold Ringers. The game was quite competitive, with both teams showcasing remarkable offensive and defensive strategies. However, 5 Gold Ringers managed to edge out the Ninjas with a narrow victory of 15-13. This triumph set the tone for their season, indicating that they are a team to watch.

Meanwhile, the Net Setters announced their entry into the season with an impressive win against the Diamond Divas. Despite the Divas showing great tenacity, the Net Setters secured a commendable 18-9 victory. The game highlighted their scoring prowess and their potential as a top contender this season.

The most exciting game of the night, however, was between Fast But Not Furious and Dynamic Dunks. The Dunks put up an overwhelming performance, outscoring Fast But Not Furious by a staggering 18 points, ending the game with a 30-12 victory. This commanding win by the Dynamic Dunks establishes them as the top scorers in the Premier League division for the opening week.

As the season has only just begun, there’s still plenty of netball action to look forward to.
