Newport Thursday Netball - WEEK 2 ROUND UP

Newport Thursday's Division 1 Netball League had its second week of the season, and the excitement is really heating up. The teams displayed remarkable sportsmanship and fiery competition, with some great victories and standout performances.

In the first game of the evening, Hot Shots put up a valiant fight against Wingland, with the final score being 17-20 in favour of Wingland. The clash was a fast-paced and tense competition with both teams showcasing their competitiveness and determination.

The second match of the evening saw Wight Shots taking an impressive victory over Net Ninja's with a score of 26-9. Wight Shots displayed impressive teamwork and focus, giving them a significant lead that Net Ninja's couldn't close despite a great effort from their players.

The third and final match of the evening was a showstopper, with Shooting Stars going up against Hoop There It Is. Hoop There It Is emerged as the undeniable victors with an impressive score of 27-9.

Among the teams, the most valued player for the week was Bethany Jones from Hoop There It Is. Beth played a pivotal role in her teams victory, demonstrating exceptional skill, leadership, and on-court strategy.
