ISLE OF WIGHT SOCIAL NETBALL CHRISTMAS ROUND UP

It was an electrifying week seven in the Newport Thursday Netball League, as all 5 teams took part in another fun filled night of netball at Christ The King College.

The highlight of the evening was the exhilarating match between Wingland and Hot Shots. After a keenly contested game, Wingland emerged victorious with a score of 20-14. It was an evening of relentless offense and formidable defence from both teams, with every player giving it their all to score crucial points. In another thrilling game, Wight Shots displayed their exceptional prowess with a 21-4 win against Net Ninja's. 

The standout player of the week was none other than Trudy Westerman from Wight Shots. Westerman's exceptional performance throughout the week did not go unnoticed. Her spectacular skills, court awareness, and leadership were instrumental in guiding Wight Shots to their impressive victory. Westerman's contributions to her team make her a deserving recipient of the 'Most Valued Player' title for the week.

The Newport Thursday Netball League continues to be a platform for players to get back into Netball or a chance for players who are new to the sport. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to everyone, enjoy the break and see you all back on the 4th January.
