Bridgend Sunday Social Netball Update 29th October

Bridgend's Sunday Social Netball league saw a thrilling third week with teams showcasing their skill and tactical prowess on the court. 

In the Premier League division, the action was fast-paced and full of drama, as Brackla Phoenix took on Pen-y-bont Dragons. Despite a good fight from the Dragons, Brackla Phoenix emerged victorious with a scoreline of 15-8, demonstrating their dominance on the field.

However, the highest scoring game of the division was between Pink Ladies and Hoops I Did It Again, with the Ladies running away with a decisive 23-9 victory. Their strategic play and impeccable shooting accuracy were the highlights of the match.

Meanwhile, Coit Y Cobras put up a sensational performance against Netball Ninjas, securing a convincing 22-8 win. This victory was a testament to the Cobras' strong attacking and defensive strategies.

Hot Shots also had a successful outing against Cougars, finishing the match with a 17-5 victory. The sharp shooting and solid defense of Hot Shots were indeed a treat for everyone.

But the league wasn't just about the teams; individual excellence also shone through. The star of the week was undoubtedly Niamh Phillips from Coit Y Cobras. Her exceptional performance on the court was instrumental in her team's victory, earning her the title of the Most Valued Player for the week. Her precision on goal and agility made her a formidable force on the court.
