The Bridgend Sunday Netball League hit its 12th week, as teams in the Premier League division fought hard for crucial points. With only two weeks left in the season, each team was eager to secure its spot for the next season and the competition was fierce.

In the Premier League division, the Pen-y-bont Dragons narrowly edged past the Netball Ninjas in a thrilling match, finishing 18-16. This victory sees the Dragons push up in the rankings, with excellent defensive and offensive plays throughout the game adding to their scoreline.

However, it was not an easy night for the Pink Ladies. Despite their fierce efforts, they narrowly beat the Hot Shots 15-12, showing fantastic teamwork and determination to hold off their opponents' onslaught.

Victories were more decisive in the other two matches. The Cougars dominated the playing field against Brackla Phoenix, who managed to score only seven goals compared to the Cougars' 30. This victory solidifies the Cougars as a team to watch in the final weeks of the season.

Similarly, the Coit Y Cobras showed their prowess by matching the Cougars in a high scoring game against All Sorts, also finishing with an impressive 30-7.

The standout performance of the week belongs to Joanna Stark of the Cougars. Her extraordinary skill and determination on the court earned her the title of Most Valued Player for the week. Joanna's excellent scoring ability, combined with her defensive prowess, makes her a key player for the Cougars as they look to finish the season strong.
