The Bridgend Sunday netball league kept spectators on the edge of their seats this past week in the Premier League division. As the league entered its eighth week, four matches took place that saw the rising stars of netball come out in full force, displaying their skills and passion for the game.

The Pen-y-bont Dragons proved their might once again, defeating All Sorts with a resounding 17-5. The Dragons were on fire, barely giving their opponent's time to catch a breather, and showcased their incredible teamwork and strategic plays.

Meanwhile, the Brackla Phoenix showcased their exemplary skills and team spirit, trumping over Coit Y Cobras with an impressive score of 18-0. The Phoenixes rose high above their competition, leaving the Cobras in the dust and securing their position with a victory.

A riveting match took place between the Cougars and Pink Ladies, with the latter besting the former with a 16-6 score. The Pink Ladies have been one of the top contenders this season, and their match against the Cougars was no exception.

In a nail-biting face-off, Hot Shots eked out a narrow victory over Netball Ninjas with a 9-8 scoreline, proving once again that every point counts in the world of netball.

Highlighting the week was a standout performance by Liliana Podpadec of Pink Ladies, who was named the most valued player of the week. Her exceptional skills, strategic game play, and sheer determination have been instrumental in leading her team to victory.
