Training returns on Thursday 29 April

We’re delighted to welcome teams back to the Grimsby Netball league on Thursday 29 April. 

Our first training session will be between 6-9pm on the outdoor netball courts at the Oasis Academy Wintringham. 

Each registered team will be given a 45min slot to attend with another opponent. 

Within this time frame there will be some light training drills and a practice match to familiarise teams and players with the modified 4ft rules and covid procedures in time for the new league launch on Thursday 6 May. 

Each captain will be contacted this weekend by your area manager to select a time that suits best for Thursday. 

More details will be shared with each team personally, but for your information we recommend all teams purchase or bring their own bibs for hygiene reasons. We have stock of bibs but they are a one time use only on the evening.

Payment will be online only. 

We also recommend each team brings their own small first aid kit. 

We are delighted to confirm 8 teams will participate in the league which represents 4 existing teams and 4 new teams.

We have a small number of individual players who would like to attend training next week with a view of joining a team. 

Please comment on our Facebook page or group if as a single player you a) want to attend training on Thursday and b) as registered teams if you would like to invite extra players to your team. We will then coordinate with you to find an appropriate team and time for you to attend training on Thursday.

A more detailed covid procedure will follow early next week after all teams have been contacted.
