The penultimate week of the Market Rasen Thursday netball league featured some great matches and showed that the title race may come to a photo finish.
The Dynamites and second-placed Vixens both had their rest weeks, before the Bomber Birds got the ball rolling with a 16-4 victory over the Rasen Hot Shots. Rasen Rejects followed that up with a 20-10 win over the Ball Bashers, propelled by Kelly Coward's MVP display.
Favourites for the title Wold Warriors won convincingly against the Goal Diggers, beating them 27-2, leaving them with just one final task to seal the title on the final day. Ella-Louise Cooper's super performance earned her MVP, as she is now joint-top in the race for player of the season, with the Vixens' Rosie Beeden.
