Market Rasen Netball: Champions Crowned!

A brilliant season of netball finally drew to a close this week in Market Rasen, as we crowned our champions Wold Warriors after a great campaign. 

In their final match, they had to win to seal the title, and they beat the Rasen Rejects 28-11, inspired by MVP Ella-Louise Cooper, who also claimed player of the season after a great personal run. 

The Dynamites signed off with a 21-14 win over the Ball Bashers, with Hannah Pickering putting in another great performance, being another key name among the standout players of the campaign. 

The Vixens fought till the end, finishing strong in second place with a 20-12 win over the Bomber Birds as Gemma Coxon picked up MVP. The Vixens will be raring to go one better next season.

Goal Diggers also bowed out with a 15-5 win in their final game of the season against Rasen Hot Shots, leapfrogging them to make up a place in the table.
